To the editor:

I am appalled by your unprofessional handling of accusations made about Angie Homola.

You wrote as though these allegations were fact, without doing the necessary research, or perhaps choosing to ignore information that called these allegations into question.

I also wondered why this article was front page news, and timed to appear just as the ballots reached voters. It seems that your idea of “fair and balanced” came from Fox News instead of from guidelines for journalism that urge integrity, professionalism, and fairness.

Please publish, post haste, a fair response to allegations that seem to come from two Republican commissioners whose obvious bias toward development make their charges suspect.
