Island couple welcomes new baby

Kristian Bentsen and Katrina Collins Bentsen are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter Anja Solveig (“An-ya Sole-vye”).

Anja was born Friday, Jan. 23, 2009 in the warmth of her home in Clinton. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 beautiful ounces and was 21 inches long.

The Bentsens send a huge heartfelt thanks to midwife Cynthia Jaffe for an amazing birth experience.

Anja Sol is the first grandchild for both sets of giddy grandparents, Will and Kris Collins and Rolf and Ellen Bentsen.
