New South Whidbey elementary principal hired

Jeff Cravy, the current principal at Tonasket Elementary School, has been hired to lead South Whidbey Elementary School.

Cravy visited the school and district last week, and was added to the South Whidbey School District’s April personnel report. He was one of two finalists. The other was Cheryl Anderton, a teacher at Twin City Elementary School in the Stanwood-Camano School District.

The nomination will be finalized after the school board approves the personnel report at its business meeting Wednesday night.
