To the editor:

The Impaired Driving Impact Panel of Island County recently held its annual fundraiser which raises money to help pay for DUI and underage drinking/other substance use prevention work on North and South Whidbey.

Many people and businesses helped to make the event happen. We would like to thank Julie Dougherty Winger of the Greenbank Farm and the following for a wonderful live auction basket: artist Stacey Neumiller, Raven Rocks Studio, Greenbank Cheese and Specialties, Whidbey Pies Cafe and Rob Schouten Gallery.

Additional thanks to the SeaNotes, the Whidbey Improv Team and emcee Jim Freeman for their donated entertainment.

Your wonderful support allows more of funds raised to be matched by Island Thrift for our work with youth. Well done! Donations can still be made to IDIPIC, PO Box 358, Oak Harbor, WA 98277 to help us reach our goal of $10,000.
