LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Langley visit was excellent

To the editor:

Thank you Langley and especially harbormaster Rick Brewer. Over the June 12-14 weekend 12 boats and crews from our boating group the “C-Brats” had a great time visiting you.

We’re a bunch of middle-aged folks who travel around the Pacific Northwest in our beloved C-Dory boats finding fun places and exploring our beautiful area. Langley and new harbormaster Rick were a great rediscovery (we’d been there for our very first gathering years ago). Sixteen of us had dinner at the Edgecliff and breakfast at the Braeburn. We shopped at the Star Store and other places, visited the library, went to the movies, and heard the exciting plans for a much-needed harbor expansion.

Rick was wonderful, the stores were full of fun stuff, the food was excellent. We left with good memories and a promise to come back.
