We don’t support 9/11 truthers | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

Mr. Watanabe’s Sept. 10 report about a joint event sponsored by MoveOn Whidbey and the Island County Democrats to commemorate the Sept. 11 attack may have left readers with the opinion that Island County Democrats support the “Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth” movement. That is not true.

The “A&E 9/11 Truth” movement’s unfounded conspiracy message trivializes one of the worst tragedies in American history. And I think my view is shared by virtually all democrats.
