Helen Katherine Pipkin, born Aug. 24, 1922, began her journey with angels on Aug. 13, 2008.

She was married for 66 years to her “Daddy” Pip, a marriage heaven had arranged.

Business owner, wife and mother, talented artist, lover of pastel colors and hummingbirds — an elegant woman of grace and strength who guided our family for many years. Dad and I will always love you, always miss you.

Each tiny, fragile, beautiful creature on this earth will remind us of you, and keep you with us forever.

Helen is survived by her husband, Felton “Pip” Pipkin; daughter, Terrelynn Creighton and son-in-law, Jeff; and grandchildren, J. Tyler (Sarah) Creighton and Lindsey Creighton.

Services for Helen will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at Visser Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Bayview Cemetery.
