Paul Otis Lee, a brilliant, creative artist and fine woodworker with a gentle loving soul, took his life after courageous battles with shame, depression and alcoholism.
Paul was born Dec. 3, 1948, and died Dec. 24, 2006.
The light of his life was his beloved daughter Samantha. Paul is also survived by his parents, Otis and Kathryn Lee of Sunlight Beach; sisters Sylvia Ruud, Becky Hirdman, Elizabeth Lee and Solveig Lee, also of Sunlight Beach.
Memorials to the family of Paul Lee may be sent to 2222 Hendon Ave., St. Paul, MN 55108.
Loved by many, a remembrance of his life and works will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Stub Hall Lounge, 2329 Hendon Ave., Luther Seminary, St. Paul.
