Support Whidbey’s Save the Trails

We support the effort to Save the Trails, as written about in The Record, July 15. Visit savethetrails.weebly.com to find out about upcoming events, including a trail work party and picnic on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. This is the same day as Children’s Day, which is organized by the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District. So families could plan on both events, off Maxwelton Road.

South Whidbey has a positive history of saving woods and land, for example the Trillium Community Forest and the Saratoga Woods. This property, near the elementary & primary school land, would benefit future generations if it could be saved from logging and development. Please help by volunteering or donating to the cause!
