Local lawmakers to hold ferries talk

Whidbey residents will have their chance to weigh in on any issues they’ve encountered recently with the state ferry system.

Representatives from the 10th Legislative District will be hosting a Facebook livestream event 2-3 p.m. this Saturday, March 12. Sen. Ron Muzzall, Rep. Dave Paul and Rep. Greg Gilday will be present at the event to hear about the importance of reliable ferry service.

The livestream will be available to watch on Paul’s Facebook page.

Given recent history on the Clinton-to-Mukilteo route, ferry delays are likely to be a hot topic.
