State-of-the-art imaging machines secured in ‘unique’ collaboration

Nitro is a therapy dog who senses when someone needs comfort. He’s also a service dog for Hammer’s wife, Kathy Hammer. The couple live in Greenbank where Nitro sometimes gets to be a plain pet dog.

At a recent solar eclipse informational talk at Coupeville Library, Ruth and Andy Nielson of the Island County Astronomical Society talked about the features of the eclipse and the importance of wearing proper eye protection. Teens also made a nebula with jars and paints.
