Voting for toy soldiers ends Dec. 17

There is still time to cast a vote for your favorite of seven plywood toy soldiers downtown.

For the second year in a row, Oak Harbor resident Carrie Stucky created a map of Christmas lights on North Whidbey. She created the tour based on her observations and suggestions from people in the community. Her family loves to drive around every year looking at homes decorated for the holidays.
"Covid has made the last couple years so difficult for so many of us," she said. "Since Christmas decorations bring so much joy to people, I wanted to make it really easy for people to find Christmas lights around town."
