The Wildcats played both schools in two mini three-inning games. The Wildcats beat the South Whidbey Falcons 7-1. Oak Harbor’s game against the Coupeville Wolves stopped after one and a half innings due to sunset. The Wildcats were in the lead 6-2.

“South Whidbey was a great match for us. The Falcons challenged us at a lot of our stronger weight classes, winning some matches against our better wrestlers,” said head coach Perer Esvelt. “Our communities are close when it comes to wrestling, so seeing a competitive match between us is great, as we can partner in the off-season and see both teams improve.”
