Letter: Listen to the birds, wind, be grateful for our Earth

Published 1:30 am Tuesday, April 21, 2020

Editor,

There are still things you can do to celebrate Earth Day, on April 22, or rather what we like to call it here on South Whidbey, Earth and Ocean Month.

Listen to the birds, the wind in the trees, bees and other critters. Then, open your heart to hear Mother Earth herself. What is she saying? Perhaps you find yourself inspired to write something, or draw or paint. Allow nature to speak to you and allow yourself to open up and really hear. Then, offer your gratitude.
