My compliments to Fred Stilwell on his well put response to the Growler noise issue.

Those pilots, and all first responders of any sort, deserve all the support and thanks we can give them. I still remember looking up a few minutes after 9/11 as two of them passed over our house — just a feeling of immense pride and thankful they are there.

We can’t have it both ways. The sound of freedom, indeed.
