To the editor:

With regard to the “Vote No on PUD – Pull the Plug” signs which were so profusely and illegally placed on private property without owner’s permission last weekend, I must conclude that whoever went to such great expense must feel that they have an even greater amount to lose should Puget Sound Energy lose its monopoly. PSE stockholders perhaps?

The least the shadow group behind “Whidbey Consumers for Affordable Energy” could do is clean up the mess they made of our roadsides.
