Neat freaks should go | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the editor:

Nancy and J.W. Lyon have the right idea about dealing with “problem” geese: deter them from the lawn with natural plant barriers and learn to live with them.

Any time the USDA is called in there are bound to be unnecessary and cruel deaths as I witnessed in Seattle during the lethal roundups.

If this community thinks that gassing the birds is somehow more “humane” they’re very wrong. What sounds like a lovely community is being ruined by a couple of tidy freaks who, as someone suggested, should move back to where they will feel comfortable on concrete.
