Bloodworks Northwest is hoping the power of music will help it recruit 10,000 new donors to a pop-up blood drive planned at First United Methodist Church in Oak Harbor on Sept. 30.
Bloodworks Northwest is partnering with Sub Pop Records, KEXP, Starbucks and Alpha Media in its effort to address a critical need for blood.
Blood donation remains an essential action. Appointments are required and no one under age 16 is permitted onsite in an effort to maintain social distancing.
