This is an off-year election in which all offices on the ballot will be non-partisan.The Langley City Council has two openings for positions presently held by Dione Murray and Doug Allderdice. Murray has announced she will not run for another term.South Whidbey School District positions open include seats presently held by Wendy Alexander and Jim Adsley, neither of whom have publicly committed to running again. Helen Johnson has announced she will run for Alexander’s position.The Port of South Whidbey has one position available, the one presently held by Jan Smith.On the South Whidbey Parks District, positions held by Curt Gordon, Jim Porter and Dave Haworth will be on the ballot this fall.
