Langley council meeting rescheduled to Jan. 10

The first Langley City Council meeting of the year did not happen this week and had to be postponed.

Due to a mistake in its Zoom link, the first Langley City Council meeting of the year did not happen this week and had to be postponed.

The meeting, which was slated for Jan. 4, has been moved to 5:30 p.m., this Monday, Jan. 10.

The web link for the teleconferenced meeting is available on the first page of the agenda, which is located on the city website, langleywa.org.

Topics of discussion on the agenda include a request for funding the Dismantling Systemic Racism Advisory Commission, the consideration of hiring a full-time front desk position at city hall and the evaluation of the city’s growing list of citizen-led boards and commissions.

In addition, three new council members will be sworn into office.
