Kruger Adkison, 61, is still under probation. The Island County Sheriff’s Office has rated Adkison as a Level III sexual offender with high potential or risk to the public of re-offending. He is living in the 7900 block of Maple Point Drive in Clinton.

“This assessment is based upon Adkison’s history, records and other assessments,” said Sheriff Mark Brown.

Brown will hold a neighborhood meeting to discuss the issue at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4 at the Scatchet Head community clubhouse, 3742 Driftwood Drive.

Adkison has been convicted of multiple crimes.

In 1991, he was convicted of first-degree child molestation that stemmed from a case involving an 8-year-old female relative.

After his conviction in Washington, he moved to Alabama in 1995. In 2001 he was convicted in Alabama of first-degree sexual abuse with a different female relative, who was 10.
