South Whidbey students recognized for academic excellence at SVC

Skagit Valley College announced its academic honor roll for winter quarter 2014, and it includes residents from several South Whidbey communities.

Students from Clinton are: James Canby, Alexa Hess, Shelby Lubchuk, Zane Vanderwood and Noah Winn. Honor roll students from Freeland are Randal Leese, Rebecca Maher and Jonathan Palmer. Hannah Bond is a Langley resident and honor roll student.

To qualify, students must maintain a grade-point average of at least 3.75 in courses numbered 100 or above while enrolled in at least 12 credits.
