Tails wagged and paws walked on the fields at the annual Wag ‘n’ Walk event at Greenbank Farm on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Whidbey Animals’ Improvement Foundation dogs and their families congregated in the sunny fields to celebrate animal adoption success stories and fur-family fun.

Participants played games like water relay and bobbing for hot dogs and enjoyed events such as the ice cream eating contest, cake walk, person and pet lookalike contest and dog walker poker. A king and queen dog, Judah and Tessa, both adopted from Whidbey Animals’ Improvement Foundation shelters, were crowned as well.

According to Merritt Atwood, a Whidbey Animals Improvement Foundation volunteer, “People and dogs had a lot of fun. …The weather was perfect and we had a good crowd.”
