Young South Whidbey violinists serenade teachers | NOTABLE

The assembly of teachers, principals, parents and students at the 2012 Parent Teacher Association awards were treated to violinists on Thursday, May 3.

The trio of Audrey Gmerek, Zoe Eisenbrey and Sarah Zundel played tunes such as “Boil Them Cabbages,” “Twinkle,” “Long, Long Ago” and “Go Tell Aunt Rhody” to the amusement of the crowd before the Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator awards were presented to a volunteer and teacher from the elementary, middle and high schools.
