Alice Marie Hagstrom Cydell, age 85, passed away on April 6, 2018 in La Mesa, Calif. Alice was born on April 15, 1932 to David and Kathrine Hagstrom of Clinton. She was raised on the family chicken farm on Swede Hill Road. Alice graduated as valedictorian from Langley High School. She completed her Ph.D in psychology in 1975 at United States International University.

Education was very important in her life. Alice retired after serving as a psychology professor for San Diego City College. She enjoyed golfing and skiing and was a member of the Useless Bay Golf Club.

Alice is survived by her three children, nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

A celebration is scheduled for all who knew her at noon on Saturday, July 21 at her home at 7958 South Scatchet Head Road, Clinton, WA 98236. Please feel free to come join the potluck celebration.
