Edward Paul (Ted) Bendel

Saturday, October 6th, we said goodbye to our Dad, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather, Edward Paul (Ted) Bendel, who left this world at the amazing age of 97+. He was born in England on November 15, 1914 and throughout his life he “did it his way”. He was a pioneer in the wholesale Travel Business, having travelled extensively around the world as a Tour Leader and for leisure. No one’s life could have been fuller, and OH DAD what you have seen and experienced in almost a century of living. Still driving, playing bridge and all those jigsaw puzzles you worked on with your devoted daughter, Carole, who was at your side up until the very last. He is survived by a family that loved him and will miss him so much, Sons Barry (Doris), Paul (Jo), Daughters Dawn (Don), and Carole, Grandchildren, Paul Jr., Michelle, Dean, Leigh, Jessica, Marc and Ryan, and Great Grandchildren, Lily and Liam, plus many more extended family and friends. There will be such a void in our lives; but we cherish the many memories we have in our hearts and will miss his “LOVE YOU”, at the end of every phone call. Goodbye Poppa Bendel.
