Eli B. Foroe, 86, passed away Nov. 12, 2007 in Stanwood.

Eli, a former Clinton resident, was born on Jan. 26, 1921 in Stanwood.

Eli will be remembered for his love of the water and fishing, both for fun and commercially. He will also be remembered for his laughter, grand smile, humor and enormous hands.

Eli was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty.

He is survived by son Steven, daughter-in-law Judy, grandchildren Christina and Daniel and great-grandchildren Mariah and Gage.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the exceptional caring staff at Josphine Sunset Home in Stanwood for the loving care they gave to Eli.
