Keith Daryle Mentzos died quietly in his sleep at home July 19, 2002.
He was born June 17, 1948, in Minneapolis to John Gus and Grade Hansen-Mentzos. He came to Whidbey Island in 1998 and started a small painting business called Ment-Condition.
Mr. Mentzos is survived by his mother, Grace; six children, Shawn, Leann, Heather, Chad, Nina and Ashley; two grandchildren, Colton and Tyler; a sister, Sharlene; and four brothers, Dennis, Craig, Paul and David.
A memorial gathering will be held at 4 p.m. July 24 at 3219 S. Harbor View Drive, Langley.
