Leo R. Lee Jr. died Sept. 4, 2009.

Leo was born Jan. 25, 1928 to Leo and Helen Lee.

He attended Broadway High School and graduated in 1945. After high school he joined the Navy.

He met and married Patricia Mamer on

Aug. 28, 1948, and together they raised three children on Mercer Island.

Leo worked for Fireman’s Fund, and Leo and Patti spent their summers on Whidbey Island.

Patti preceded Leo in death. Leo moved to Freeland in 1996, where he lived until his death.

He is survived by his brother Larry Lee (Shirley) of Clinton and his three children Georgia Fariss (Jerry) of Cordova, Alaska; Stephen Lee of Langley; and David Lee of Freeland, and grandchildren Jamie Fariss, Mary McCune, Brandon, Sam and Emma Lee.
