Martin Henry Nelson

Martin Henry Nelson, age 70, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Langley, Wash., passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2014. He was born in Seattle, Wash., on Oct. 22, 1943, to the late Robert and Pauline Nelson.

He graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle, Wash., in 1961 and received a masters in business administration degree from the University of Washington. He also served as an officer in the United States Navy.

He was married to his wife Karen for over 40 years. He retired from US West Communications in 1990. Martin was a beloved member of the Whidbey Island community and loved sprint car races and Peter’s PS Suisse bakery.
