Robert “Pat” Farrell: April 28, 1945 – January 2, 2022

Robert “Pat” Farrell, age 76, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. He was born April 28, 1945, in Spokane, WA. Pat was raised by Bob and Marie Farrell in Oak Harbor, WA attending the Oak Harbor schools where he graduated in 1963. Pat graduated from the Skagit Valley College in 1965 with an AA degree in Technical Arts, and he married his sweetheart, Merrily Robison that same year. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1966, and spent his two years of active duty at 29 Palms, CA and was honorably discharged in 1972. Pat worked for Skagit Corporation in Sedro-Woolley from 1965 – 1971.

With his family he enjoyed working and riding the trails at the Walker Valley ORV Park which is located by Big Lake, WA. Pat Farrell became the Open A class NMA enduro rider champion in 1983 and 1984. From 1973 to 1999, Pat and his wife Merrily owned and operated Pat’s New and Used in Burlington. Due to Pat’s declining health, they sold their business and Pat spent the rest of his life working on their antique Stanley Steamers and their other old cars.Pat was a member of the Antique Auto Restorers Club, Skagit Old Car Club, Steam Automobile Club of America, Horseless Carriage Club of America, Skagit Motorcycle Club & American Legion Post #43.

Pat is survived by his wife of 56 years, Merrily; daughters, Julie Rosario and Angela Langley; son, Rodney Farrell; his grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.
