Terry Hornshaw passed away on November 29, 2024 after fighting a long hard battle with Parkinsons. He was born July 3, 1944 to Charles and Dorothy Hornshaw in Tacoma, Washington.
His family moved to Whidbey Island when he was 11, and he grew up on a farm raising cows of his own and working for all the local farmers. In his late teens, he entered the Navy and served four years.
In 1971 he married Marjorie Lambert, and they raised their family on Whidbey. He worked in construction all his life. In the early 1990’s he started his own business, Hornshaw Construction, which was his pride and joy. He loved driving dump trucks, bulldozers, and backhoes!
Terry was preceded in death by his daughter Jodi Hornshaw, his parents Charles and Dorothy, and his brother Charles Hornshaw; stepdad Al Camandona and stepbrother Jon Camandona.
He is survived by Marjorie, his wife of 53 years. Daughters Tami Hornshaw and Niki (John) Bowlsby, a son Neil (Tasha) Hornshaw; and stepsister Patricia West. He has 6 grandkids (and their families) and 4 great grandchildren.
GOODBYE, FAREWELL, and AMEN
You are deeply loved and will be missed every day!
