The South Whidbey Falcons are off to a flying start this football season with an undefeated 2-0 record so far. During Friday night’s game against Coupeville, Josh Sterba, middle, hands off the ball to running back Cody Redford, right, while Cash Hajny, left, gets set to make a block. South Whidbey won a hard-fought contest of 44-28 against the Wolves.
This Friday, Sept. 16, the Falcons go on the road again, taking on the East Jefferson Rivals — a combination of Port Townsend and Chimacum high schools — in Port Townsend at 6:30 p.m.
