Pilates center in Langley celebrates birthday

Island Pilates Center is celebrating its ninth anniversary and the conclusion of the winter to spring fitness challenge with an after hours party and class sampler from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27.

Island Pilates Center is celebrating its ninth anniversary and the conclusion of the winter to spring fitness challenge with an after hours party and class sampler from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27.

Nine years ago Island Pilates Center began as a single person, single reformer, small studio.  Now it is a happening fitness studio with trainers Nicole Falso, Amanda Murphy and Leslie Larch at the helm.

The trainers hold pilates, yoga, TRX and qi gong and movement fusion classes seven days a week. Instructors are certified in Stott Pilates and offer private instruction as well as group reformer classes six days a week.

More classes are coming soon with ballet conditioning, Yoga 4 Kids, Mama Moment yoga and pilates.
