Well there is a silver lining to Donald Trump being our next president. Since he is a lead by example kind of person, the rest of us should be expecting a letter in our mailboxes soon letting us know we will have to pay zero federal income taxes from now on! Of course, paying zero federal income taxes will come with some consequences for our country:

1. No standing publicly funded military

2. The end of Social Security payments

3. The end of Medicare payments

4. No more federal medical payments for poor and children without insurance

5. No more FBI, CIA, TSA or NSA… I guess the Sheriff’s office can handle the extra workload

6. No more border patrol or enforcement – guess the states will handle their own borders

6. No more federal dollars to clean up the environment… got bad water ? Sorry

7. Have a natural disaster in your area? Don’t look for federal aid – call your mayor

8. No more federal student loans or aid – can’t afford school? The world needs unskilled labor!

And last but not least, there will be no money to fund the presidency or legislators. I guess they can do the job as volunteers now!

And if in the end we all still have to pay federal taxes, do we have to support our new president? Well I guess we’ll use Trump’s example of how he embraced Barak Obama when he was elected president.
