Veterans Day was celebrated in Coupeville and Oak Harbor by the display of hundreds of American flags lining the main streets. The City of Langley merchants showed their liberal colors and dishonored all veterans by refusing to display ANY American flags. This right to protest patriotism by not displaying the Flag is their right, of course, but they fail to realize that it was, and is, the members of the Armed Forces who, by their service and sacrifice, continue to ensure that the freedom to disrespect them remains intact. Shame, shame, shame!
