Habitat for Humanity of Island County is inviting the public to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for a new home located at 3160 Summit Boulevard, Oak Harbor at noon on Friday, March 1.
The house will become the “forever home” for the Dunlap Family, according to a press release.
“With our help, homeowners achieve the strength, stability and self-reliance they need to shape a better tomorrow for themselves and their families,” the press release states. “Through Habitat’s home building and other programs, we are improving our community and empowering people to help themselves.”
