South Whidbey All Stars on a roll in tourney

The South Whidbey 13- to 14 year-old All Star Little League team won their second game against South Skagit 10-0 behind the pitching of Riley Newman. Newman went six complete innings. Coupled with a smart defense by the entire team, South Whidbey won with no errors, good hitting and aggressive base running.

The South Whidbey 13- to 14 year-old All Star Little League team won their second game against South Skagit 10-0 behind the pitching of Riley Newman.

Newman went six complete innings. Coupled with a smart defense by the entire team, South Whidbey won with no errors, good hitting and aggressive base running.

Blake Kozarek went 3-for-4 and tapped the game-ending single. Patrick Monell, Newman and Cody Haynes contributed doubles.
