Falcons get ready for first scrimmage

The South Whidbey High School football squad will play a practice “blue-and-white” scrimmage this Saturday.

“The point is to add another practice under the guise of a real game, while letting parents and fans get a taste of the great things coming this season,” said Falcon coach Mark Hodson.

The team is gearing up to surpass last season’s 9-2 record, the school’s best since 1992.

The scrimmage is 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at Waterman Field.
