‘Apples for autism’ sale starts

Wintros Academy is currently pre-selling apples that will be hand-selected and fresh-picked from Johnson’s Orchard.

Proceeds will benefit the academy, a school for children with autism.

The apple sale will offer a choice of Fuji, Red Delicious, Pink Lady and Cameo apples, D’Anjou pears, or a mix. Five-pound boxes are $18; 10-pound boxes are $35. For more information visit www.wintrosacademy.org or call 360-682-5955.
