Home-seekers can get assistance at first meeting

Saratoga Community Housing, a nonprofit community land trust, will hold an affordable home-ownership orientation this week in Freeland.

The trust helps lower- to moderate-income households become homeowners. Attending an orientation is the first step to get on the homebuyer wait list. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12 at the Freeland Library.
