Island Transit honors outstanding employee

Nick Pinch has been named Island Transit’s Employee of the Half for July through December 2009.

Pinch is a transit operator who drives on routes across Whidbey.

The bi-annual award honors an employee chosen by fellow employees. Island Transit officials said Pinch is a real trooper, and maintains a positive, friendly, happy, helpful environment when riders are onboard the buses.
