Whidbey Wind takes medals at Northwest tournament

The Whidbey Wind, Whidbey Island’s Special Olympics basketball team, won bronze medals in the Team Skills Division at the Special Olympics Northwest Region Basketball Tournament in Stanwood on Feb. 7.

Whidbey Wind team members are Talia Petosa, Mark Welch, Alicia Febus, Ryan Hagar, Dylan Matros-Borkowski, Andrew Bishop, Lucas Etzell and Coach Mike Etzell.
