Whidbey couple announces wedding plans

Tina and Jeff Balkema of Langley are pleased to announce the wedding engagement of their son, James Balkema, to Jennyfer Schaefer, daughter of Rose and Craig Schaefer.
The couple met while working for Starbucks Coffee Company in Fort Wayne, Ind. The groom still works for Starbucks while the bride currently works in the social-work field.
They plan to wed on April 16, 2011 in Fort Wayne, where the couple currently resides.
