Chad and Lindsay Formhals of Freeland welcomed Ashlyn Kay-Corinne Formhals into the world Jan. 3, 2012.
She was born at Whidbey General Hospital in Coupeville — the hospital’s first baby of 2012 — and weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
