Langley runner finishes in top five

Frank Jacques, of Langley, finished in the top five at the recent Deception Pass Challenge triathlon. Jacques claimed fifth place out of 55 individuals and ahead of all nine 3-person teams in the race that included an 800-meter swim in Cranberry Lake, a 13-mile bike ride through the Hoypus Forest and a four-mile run up to Goose Rock and down North Beach.
