Members of the Langley Parks and Open Space Commission are scheduled to meet today to discuss signage at Generation Park and the creation of a parks brochure.
The meeting begins at 4 p.m. and will be held in the main council chambers in City Hall.
The five-member commission is hoping to have a sign made for Generation Park, located on the corner of Saratoga Road and DeBruyn Avenue. The goal is to someday have signs for all parks and trails in Langley, according to Challis Stringer, director of Public Works.
The group will also be discussing an ongoing effort to create a brochure of city parks. Partnerships with the Langley Main Street Association, the Langley Chamber of Commerce and local schools are being considered to help with its creation.
