Land trust stewards, volunteers hit Whidbey beaches for garbage pick up

Whidbey Camano Land Trust tideland site stewards Brenda and Michael Dewey load up trash collected at Libbey Beach tidelands at a recent beach clean-up work party. Twelve volunteers picked up Styrofoam blocks and other debris from the tidelands, which were protected by the Whidbey Camano Land Trust in 2003.
