Santa’s Sleigh traveled through the streets of Langley on Thursday night to spread the joy of Christmas. Children and their parents stepped out of their homes and into the rain to greet Santa along his journey, which began on Manchester Way and ended on Hi Crest Drive.

Santa’s helpers handed out bags of goodies for the eager and excited children. Helping Santa were Kohl Baker, 13, Jessie Ross-McMahon, 10, Keyara Beck, 10, and Sam Ross-McMahon, 9.

A holiday tradition since 1995, volunteers at South Whidbey Fire/EMS have visited dozens of neighborhoods through the week. The sleigh could be heard by Christmas jingles and sirens, along with Santa’s booming voice that greeted all that came.
