Letter: Log cabins, buildings needed for photo project

I’m a long-time resident of this beautiful island and have been seeing a lot of new development in the past few years. I’m starting a project of photographing and finding out some history on beautiful old cabins, outbuildings, farmhouses of South Whidbey.

I have a special fondness for log cabins as we built one 30 years ago in Maxwelton Valley. If you happen to have a hidden gem on your property that I can snap some photos of and perhaps glean some history from you, I would be forever grateful. I can be reached by email at loghouse@whidbey.com
